Bentley - A Legend Reborn (2nd Edition) is the history of Bentley, one of Britain's most distinguished and charismatic marques, detailing its long and turbulent history from its creation in 1919 to the present culture under VW ownership and the unveiling of the new 205mph Continental GT Supersports.

Founded in 1919 on high hopes but scant capital, the marque delivered a wealth of cars as diverse as Le Mans-winning sports cars and a massive State Limousine, elegant drophead coupés, turbocharged sports saloons and peacefully specified touring cars. Controlled since 1998 by the German automotive giant VW, Bentley is today associated with an entirely new breed of supercar such as the Arnage, Azure, Brooklands Coupé and Continental Speed models.

This second edition of Graham Robson's authoritative Bentley - A Legend Reborn - the first to trace the tenuous link between the company's founder, W.O. Bentley, and its modern entity - includes a historical overview of the marquee together with expert insight into the company, its owners and key personnel as well as interviews with a chief executive and technical directors. In addition, there are technical specifications, driving impressions and illustrations of every model, with specially commissioned photographs of preserved models from the 1920s to date.

The Author Graham Robson, a long-established motoring writer and historian, has been an avid Bentley-watcher for many years. He has driven and road-tested a number of models and delved deeply into Bentley's heritage on many occasions. Regular contact with a number of the personalities involved makes him the ideal author of this fascinating history. He lives near Bridport in Dorset.
