Carbs
Hi all I was going to run the standard sierra pinto setup until after iva but a have got very little room under the bonnet for an air filter I wondered how others got round this I would like motorbike carbs can these be ran without engine management
Thanks for any help |
I think it's well settled -- if you're running a standard downdraft carburettor, you have a hole in the bonnet for a chrome or foam filter. A way to avoid it is a set of sidedrafts, or bike carbs.

i think you can use the same ignition set up you have for bike carbs but most will use megajolt or (I'm waiting for Nodiz from m-tech to come out next month).
|
I'm planning to do motorbike carbs on a pinto too - potentially permanently. How do you go about getting a manifold made to suit the carbs?
|
I have seen the manifold kits on eBay I think the kit is about 60 and the kit all welded up is about 130
