Default RMD wheels

Has anyone bought a set of the RMD kit car wheels? I had a look at them at Stoneleigh and they looked very nice. I would love to have a set of Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2s but at over £30 more per wheel I am struggling to justify the extra £120 that will pay for some other nice goodies!

Just wondered if anyone had any opinions on these wheels?

Are these the one's Dave ?

RMD Alloys

Never come across them before, I quite like them though

The price is certainly a lot lower that the Team Dynamic's 1.2's

May I ask if you saw them on a RD stand at a show or have you seen them being sold direct ?

That is the kinda look I want for my build & at a price that I can live with

Yup those are the ones Ronnie.

I saw them on the RD stand at Stoneleigh. The wheels only come in ford fitment and a single size. But that has allowed Rally Design to order a big batch and hence the price.

I think one of the members on here is connected with Rally Design - perhaps they could give us some more info?

Thank's Dave

With a little luck, I might be able to see them in the flesh at Exeter this year.

Being a Ford only fit is a bonus for me, for some strange reason I really do not like multi fit alloys ( Unless they have a centre cap )

As said, they have the multi spoke look that I had in mind

Personally, I have a sweet spot for the Minilite alloys but the sheer cost of them is prohibitive at the moment

I bought a pair of pro race 1.2's 15" in black off ebay for £255+ £30 postage so there are deals to be had. Perfect condition apart from 1 which has a small kerb on it.

Keep a look out you might find a bargin.

They look nice Ronnie, if you sand all the scuffs off them and take them into a car sprayer and get them painted and lacquered, black i would say, they will look really cool. Go well with the Red.

Look very similar to mine.....

Like mine?

Although they're white at the mo, need redoing back to how they were in the above pic.

Best bit so far: Getting it running
Worst bit so far: Cutting steel for wishbones and engine mounts.
Most annoying bit so far: Generator packing up half way through welding.
