Jake is 15 years old, is self taught and he is a member of The Extremists, a band which you can check out on You Tube.
The judges were author Paul Balmer, guitarist Phil Manzanera (ex-Roxy Music) and Mick Taylor of Guitarist magazine.
1st prize was awarded at Music Live 2008, Birmingham NEC on the Gibson Tour Bus.
The first twenty entrants also received a free copy of the Haynes Gibson Les Paul Manual.
