This fully updated edition is the ultimate companion for truck and coach drivers, listing all of the most popular truckers' haunts in the UK and Ireland. With easy-to-follow symbols, it gives a huge range of information about truckstops, service stations and lorry parks, from canopy height and availability of showers to the types of fuel card accepted.

There are also comprehensive sections packed with invaluable advice on how to operate your vehicle, personal driver health and laws applicable to truckers, all presented with clear photographs and diagrams.

Contents include:

  • Listings of truck stops, cafés, service stations, lorry parks, filling stations and bunkers - all split into regions with accompanying maps.
  • Legal information including digital and analogue tachograph regulations, the London Low Emissions Zone (LEZ) and the working-time directive.
  • Truck section covering the new VBG multifunction coupling system, fuel efficiency, sliding fifth wheels, dock levellers, loading ramps and new automatic and tiptronic gearboxes, along with extensive dealer listings and useful contacts.
  • Driver section covering qualifications and training (including the new driver CPC), personal health and safety, first aid and types of work.
  • Glossary explaining common trucking terms, from 'Suzies' to 'Running Bobtail'.
