There are few things more liberating than passing your driving test. A licence brings social independence, career opportunities and a real sense of freedom. However, half the people taking a driving test fail. That's why Haynes has put together these easy-to-read, step-by-step guides which take you through all the points you need to pass your theory and practical tests on your first attempt - all in one book.

Learn To Drive and Learn To Ride have been fully updated to include all the latest additions made by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) to the practical and theory tests. They contain the full set of official DSA revision questions for the theory test, valid from September 2011.

These 'all in one' books lead you through both elements of your test - combining practical advice with essential theory - and provide all the knowledge you need to ensure a long and safe driving or riding career. Learn To Drive has been voted 'best buy' by Auto Express magazine on three occasions.

Written with refreshing clarity and simplicity, and accompanied with great colour photos throughout, these Haynes guides are an essential buy for anyone hoping to hit the road on either four wheels or two.

Both books include:
  • Latest test requirements.
  • All the vital driving/riding skills.
  • Essential Highway Code information.
  • Comprehensive road signs and markings.
  • Compulsory Basic Training for riders.
  • Complete official DSA revision theory questions.
  • Hazard perception test examples.
  • Practical safety test questions.
  • What to expect during your practical test.
  • Excellent 'how-to' photographs (in colour throughout) and diagrams.
